Abstract

The paper discusses various options within the current debate on the relationship between God and abstract objects. The author recommends a non-platonic approach which at the same time avoids the pitfalls of nominalism and radical conceptualism. The paper argues that God’s very own nature in the mode of divine self-affirmation might serve as truthmaker, a role otherwise ascribed to abstract objects.
